Khalsa FC announces futuristic plans, benefits to players

Chandigarh October : Khalsa Football Club (Khalsa FC), a registered non-profit sports organization, is going to organize first Sikh Football Cup-2019 in Punjab for Keshadhari players.
Disclosing this here today president Khalsa FC Harjeet Singh Grewal, state awardee, said dedicated to 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, this football cup would commence from November 23 to December 07 under FIFA rules in various districts. Our prime motive is to encourage the Punjabi youth to engage in sports as Keshadhari sportspersons and to regain the sheen lost in the past, which was once reigned by Punjabis in sports.
He further informed that Khalsa FC would honour the legendary sportspersons, footballers, coaches and technical officials for their distinguished contributions during an annual event. Besides this, winners and runner-ups would be awarded with cash prizes and participating teams to get travelling allowance besides certificates.
Underlining the futuristic plans Grewal added that the Khalsa FC team could avail opportunities to play matches with prominent teams in India as well as football clubs in foreign countries."Khalsa FC would act as launching pad for promising players so that they could realize their good luck in executing contracts with high valued football clubs", he stated.
He further revealed that the Khalsa FC would try to arrange sponsors to provide them best training, coaching and medical facilities besides free education and boarding for its players. In addition to this, Khalsa FC would try to get insurance plan for its football team members to cover the injuries, damages, if any, during the competitions. Besides, players' achievements would also be highlighted in all types of media so as they could explore fortuity in other clubs, said Grewal.
